Newtown Terrace Extension & Renovation

This original Newtown terrace was transformed into a modern, light-filled family home while preserving its heritage character. The project included a full double-storey rear extension with a suspended slab and balcony, along with a complete renovation of the existing terrace.

Heritage elements such as the front façade, tesselated tiles, ceiling roses and decorative plasterwork were carefully restored. The new extension brings in generous natural light through oversized windows and multiple skylights, creating a warm and functional open-plan living space.

Clever storage was a key focus, with custom wardrobes, under-eave cabinetry and integrated joinery maximising every square metre — ideal for Inner West terrace living.

Outcome: A seamless blend of heritage charm and modern practicality.
